Lesson Coverage:
Jamplay.com provides 15-60 minute online video based lessons. They have an extremely large amount of content and they are constantly adding more. They have 7 different instructors each specializing in different genres. Their lessons include everything from tuning your guitar, to how to read tab, to advanced scales and modes. Their videos are categorized into the following 3 'phases':
Phase 1: beginner (basics and fundamentals)
Phase 2: advanced (learning specific genres)
Phase 3: specific songs (learning specific songs)
The downsides of learning with online lessons is that you are required to be in front of your computer the entire time and you will need a high speed internet connection (dial-up is too slow for constant strreaming video). In other words, this isn't a course that you can use anywhere.
